Cheap Halloween decorations - Dress up Your Yard for Next to No Money
by Abbie
The simplest way to save money in this area is to not do it at all. But if you have children and you have done this in the past, you might have to/want to continue. Turn your front lawn into a graveyard using pressboard or cardboard cut into headstone shapes and painted white. Cardboard is easy to come by for free, pressboard is relatively cheap and lots of times people has some around the house from an old project. A cheaper and more fun option is to go on a nature hike, collect sticks about the size of your arm and forearm and form them into crosses. Poke these around your yard and there you go. Hang a few white sheets or if you don't have these, white garbage bags from a tree or off the eaves and tie, stuff them to form the shape of a ghost. There you have it, a decorated yard for next to no money!
