Clip from Your Sunday Paper and Keep a Coupon Folder
by Jessica
This allows us to clip coupons in the Sunday Times every week. We also check coupons.com every Sunday to find coupons for products we plan to buy. Receiving the Sunday paper allows us to look through the various advertisements. We can then use the coupons on products that are on sale at the stores we shop at. Furthermore, every Sunday we go through our "coupon folder" to look for coupons that will expire that day or in the next six days before we will get back to the store. This insures that any coupons we may use will not expire. The coupon folder we have is small folder that has staggered slots labeled with the letters of the alphabet. We fill and store coupons based on the general product. For example, a coupon for Windex is stored under "C" for cleaners. That allows us to look through all the cleaner coupons we have when we need a specific cleaner; therefore, if there is a coupon for more than one brand we can take both and compare them to see which product will be cheaper. We have really saved money since we began to use coupons and look for sales in the ads. We have easily paid for the Sunday paper subscription with the savings from using the coupons. Good luck coupon searching!!
