Coupons, Refunding and Courtesy Desk
by Margaret V
I file them in a wallet type coupon holder that I keep IN my large purse so I am never without them. I even clip coupons that I am not sure I will use because, if the product is almost free for me, I will buy it to donate. My stores double so I can get really good prices, when combining with a sale, a lot of times free. I also check-out Target's ads because sometimes with their sales, and using a coupon I can often get a Free gift card which reduces my price paid for the items. I use the Coupon Clippers to pay a handling fee to get some extra coupons with long expiration dates so that I can hold onto them and wait for a sale. I do not have a printer and my stores are not really happy with internet printed coupons so I stay away from those. I used to do a lot of refunding but I have been staying away from that as the forms that you need are very difficult to come by. Sometimes they are in the Sunday papers and if I can use the product, I will do the refund. Coupons are found in many of the grocery stores in the aisles, on packages of product and specially marked displays. Sometimes the Courtesy desk has some out when vendors leave them there. I also find coupons in magazines, like All You, Family Circle, etc and the Sunday supplements are my main source.
