Gift Baskets for Ten People for Under $100 Total

To make my money stretch a little further for Christmas last year, I put together gift baskets for the adults on my Christmas list. It was a little more work but saved cash in the end.

I bought several inexpensive Christmas baskets from the local dollar store, picked-up coffee mugs on sale for 2/$1.00 at a craft store, as well as stuffing for the baskets.

Each basket had one mug or two if made for a couple, hot chocolate, green/herbal tea, or instant flavored coffee depending upon the recipient, a can of cookies (1.00 each at the dollar store), and individually wrapped chocolates dispersed in the bottom of the basket, a few candy canes, package of marshmallows (i used sandwich bags with a cute ribbon), and a personal touch such as a scented holiday candle, hand towels, decorative soap, puzzle book, or homemade picture frame.

I then tied the baskets up with clear packaging wrap and secured the top with a ribbon.

I was able to spend less than $100.00 for at least 10 people.

The gifts looked store bought. Anything can be added to the baskets(nuts, fruit, something for a pet) depending on your budget.

If you want to include children in the baskets consider the dollar store for small puzzles, coloring books, crayons, glitter glue, stencils, and stickers for a craft basket. Kids love crafts.

The baskets were a hit at Christmas. The adults all had similar gifts but each had its own personalized touch.

I hope this works for you as well as it did for me.
