How to Yard Sale - Have Lots to Sell - You Can Join Forces With Neighbors

One of the most important things to do when you begin considering having a garage sale is to think about actually how much stuff you have to sell.

Also consider is it worth anything to anyone.

I can't tell you how many garage sales I've encountered that have just one table of junk. If I drive up and see a person sitting behind one table that has a couple old dishes, and a tape player, I'm just gonna drive by.

So are many other garage salers, so you're then just wasting yours and other people's time.

My other advice is advertise your garage sale well. Put it up on craigslist and make plenty of easy to read signs. Make sure the signs clearly point to where the sale is and make sure some form of parking is available.
