I Make Personalised Gift Baskets for Each Family on my List

I make Christmas baskets for family for Christmas.

I have found that this saves me a ton of money around the holidays.

Each "family" gets a basket themed just for them.

For example: My parents are big on hunting, so around the holidays, it's really cold outside and they still like to hunt.

Last year I made them a basket with one pair of wool socks each, a cocoa mug each, hand and foot warmers (that they can wear in their gloves/boots while they hunt), and a few other small thing that help them during the hunt. They loved it and it was way better than having to spend a lot of money on a large gift for each of them.

I did a unique, but different, basket for my brother and his girlfriend. I have found that this gives them something that they can share and enjoy together and ends up saving me a ton of money!

Sometimes I'll even put in a nice homemade box of candy or soup kit with instructions on how to make the soup at a later time (soup in a jar) - these have all been very popular as well.
