Maple Leaf Gardens and Cold Lemonade

Approximately one year ago, I purchased a program from Maple Leaf Gardens from the 1960's, from an elderly women at a garage sale.

Being an avid sports fan (and hockey fan in particular), not only was it of interest to me personally, but has significant value in the sports community, in particular, with Toronto Maple Leafs fans.

She had six of them, and I purchased them all for $1/each. I have had them appraised and they are worth approximately $10 each (they are in excellent condition).

A very good tip I'd recommend for a person having a garage sale, is have drinks/refreshments for sale.

A lot of the days are very hot, and a cold beverage for sale is a great idea, and a great way to make extra $.

Another good idea, is have a young child selling them, as it makes people want to purchase one even more if for anything, to help out the youngster!
