My Thrift Score: Winter Coat from Value Village

This fall we were shopping in Value Village. I love to look around and see what treasures I can find.

After browsing for a good while, I thought it was time to gather the family, who had scattered to the departments that interested them, and check out.

I began to walk up the outerwear aisle when I remembered that I had gotten rid of my winter coat in the Spring and would need a new one soon.

My eyes fell on a Misty Mountain red winter jacket. I picked tried it on and proceeded to walk through the store to find a mirror or my daughter to see if it looked as good as it fit.

My daughter gave me the thumbs up but looked puzzled. My husband came around the corner and gave me an odd look. I asked him if there was anything wrong with the coat and he replied that it looked exactly like the one I had gotten rid of in the Spring.

Truly it did, except this one had no rips or stains. The price was $15, for that I figured I could not go wrong.

Later I found a similar jacket for $150.00 online!
