Praise the Manufacturers for Hefty Coupons

Here’s an idea on how to get some hefty coupons.

Make a list of all of the products you buy regularly. Then go online and locate the websites of their manufacturers. Send each manufacturer a lengthy (and well-written, if possible) e-mail on how much you enjoy its product(s), mentioning specific products by name.

In a few weeks you might receive coupons from them in the mail, or even online.

Although it may seem like you’re scamming these manufacturers, the truth is that they use your comments in advertising and for research. So you’re actually helping them out (as long as your comments are honest).

I have received many coupons like this, sometimes for as much as $5 per coupon.

Out of all of the manufacturers I have e-mailed, I have received coupons from about eighty percent of them. Give it a try!
