Rare Silver Spoons

I am always looking for cool items at the thrift store. I make my weekly trip on Thursday mornings but one morning stands out in my mind. It was a cool autumn morning the wind was beginning to blow, the leaves were falling and I felt the chill creeping up on me.

I quickly ran into the thrift store to seek warmth and begin my journey through the many isles of treasure.

I made my way to the back of the store and saw a set of spoons. They were beautiful and authentic. These spoons were made of pure silver, tarnished slightly but in mint condition.

I picked up the set of spoons and purchased them up front for $6.00.

Later, I took them to my local jewelry store and found out they were considered a rarity.

Just goes to show the treasure that lies buried at your local thrift store.
