Saving Money Through Kitchen Gardens

by Rashmi Priya
(Bangalore, Karnataka, India)

A lot of people like gardening. Though most of us like growing decorative plants and ferns, this hobby can be used to save money on food items.

You can use the small space in the corner of your kitchen into a small garden that can accommodate a few pots. It might be difficult to grow potatoes or carrots in your kitchen garden but you can definitely grow food articles like coriander, mint, garlic and ginger in small spaces inside your kitchen.

This might seem like an investment with low returns, but you will realize that you are saving a lot of money in the long run.
