Start Buying Christmas Presents Early

One of the best ways I know of to save money on holiday presents, is not to buy them just before the day they're needed.

Christmas presents that you buy in late December are not going to be cheap presents.

If you start thinking about gift ideas shortly after Christmas you can buy something nice for your loved ones over the course of the year, snatching up bargains as they come along.

I myself often start buying Christmas presents for the kids as early as January. Those January sales are not to be sneered at. You can pick up some great stuff, at dramatically reduced prices, and then when Christmas rolls around again you can always add a little something more “now” to the package.

Plus, it often works out better than buying the gift right before it's supposed to be given, as with this way you have a longer time to think about your presents and making well balanced decisions instead of hasty and stressed ones.
