We're Going as a Chain Gang

Halloween can be super expensive, especially when it comes to costumes.

This year my classmates and I are doing a themed group costume in which we are escaped "convict" students of our school.

We toyed with the idea of buying expensive jump suits, but size availability in such a large number and cost kept us back!

So instead, we will be taking black pants and shirts that we already own and using white electrical tape to create the classic striped effect. We also did purchase some cheap handcuff props and will be using black cord to create a gang chain to tie our legs together.

Remember - all that really matters with costumes is that people get what you're going for, whether you've spent $10 or $100!

We think this will be a hit with very few post-holiday "leftovers", with the exception of the prop handcuffs we bought to round out the effect. Hopefully our professors will think that this is as funny an idea as we do!
